The present study entitled “Effect of sowing dates and weed management on growth, yield economics lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.)” was carried out during kharif 2020-21 at instructional cum research farm, D.K.S. College Agriculture Research Station, Bhatapara (C.G.). soil the experiment side clay- loam texture. crop grown in treatments were replicated three times split plot design. experimental consists main viz. D1: 10/11/2020, D2: 20/11/2020, D3: 30/11/2020 D4: 10/12/2020 sub W1: Weedy check, W2: Pendimethalin 30% EC @ 1 kg a.i./ha (PE) + Imazethapyr 10% SL 37.5 g (PoE), W3: 35% Imazamox WG 70 g/ha (PoE) W4: Weed free.The result revealed that maximum value observation on, attributes recorded under D1 (10/11/2020), While lowest treatment control D4 (10/12/2020) (Pendimethalin (PoE). treatmentW1 (Weedy check).Among different date sowing, 10th November higher values regarding W4 (Weed free).
